Yoga Around The World ("we", "us") is a curated directory and booking concierge for yoga retreats. We respect your privacy and only collect the information needed to connect travelers with retreat hosts.

What we collect

• Contact & inquiry data — name, email, travel dates, budget, and any message you send through our inquiry, waitlist, retreat-alerts, or partner-lead forms.
• Account data — if you sign in as an admin or partner, your email and authentication credentials are managed by our authentication provider.
• Outbound link clicks — when you click a host or venue link, we log the destination URL and page path to understand which retreats interest visitors. No personal identifiers are attached.

How we use it

• To respond to inquiries and forward leads to retreat hosts (only when you submit an inquiry for a specific retreat).
• To send retreat alerts and waitlist updates you've opted in to.
• To improve which retreats and destinations we feature.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or marketing networks.

How it's stored

All submissions are stored in our managed backend (Lovable Cloud) with row-level security: only authenticated administrators can read inquiry, waitlist, and lead data. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and passwords are hashed by our authentication provider.

Cookies

We use a single strictly-necessary functional cookie (sidebar_state) inside the admin panel to remember sidebar layout. The site uses no tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies, so no consent banner is required.

Your sign-in session, if you have an admin account, is stored in your browser's local storage by our authentication provider and is cleared when you sign out.

Retention

We keep inquiry and lead data for as long as needed to facilitate the booking and for our records. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us (see below).

Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do so, email hello@yogaaroundtheworld.com. You can also unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in the email footer.
